A focused look at the forces that actually drive heart disease: the cholesterol particles that build plaque, the inflammation that inflames it, and the blood sugar and insulin that speed the whole process along. A sharper read than a standard cholesterol panel.
Who it is for. Anyone focused on heart health, with a family history of heart disease, or wanting to see the metabolic drivers a basic cholesterol test leaves out.
Lp(a) is set by your genes and stays steady for life, so it is a once-and-done test. If you do not already know your number, add it here to find out. There is no need to repeat it year to year.
Each is a separate test on our Ulta store. Tap a name to read what it measures, or order it on its own.
Before testing. Fast 9 to 12 hours (water only) so the lipid panel and fasting insulin read accurately, and avoid testing while ill, since any infection spikes hs-CRP.
When to retest. Recheck about 12 weeks after a meaningful diet, exercise, or medication change. ApoB and hs-CRP respond within weeks, while HbA1c reflects the full three months.
The price shown is this panel's current Ulta package total, verified on the date noted; the exact total always appears at checkout.
